Five Behaviors

Unlock the Power of Teamwork

How does a team accomplish this? It's to understand collective accountability, and utilize Wiley/Flex® Theory. The program successfully identifies qualities of a Cohesive Team and the experience they create.

The Five Behaviors® of a Cohesive Team is an assessment-based learning experience that helps individuals and organizations reveal what it takes to build a truly cohesive and effective team. Lencioni's model is the foundation for a proven approach to team development, giving participants a common language for discussions about teamwork and the tools to address teamwork challenges.

Program 01

The Single Most Untapped Competitive Advantage is Teamwork

To get this advantage, teams need:

Trust One Another

When team members are genuinely transparent and honest with one another, they are able to build vulnerability-based trust.

Engage in Conflict Around Ideas

When there is trust, team members are able to engage in unfiltered, constructive debate of ideas, leaving all critical options on the table.

Commit to Decisions

When team members are able to offer opinions and debate ideas, they feel accepted and are able to commit to decisions and rally to them.

Hold One Another Accountable

When everyone is committed to a clear plan of action, they will be more willing to hold one another to doing what needs to be done.

Focus on Achieving Collective Results

When everyone is held accountable for doing the right thing, team members will put the team's goals above their individual needs.

What It Does

What Does This Program Do?

The program repeatedly points out to you, as a team, the vision of the key components of the Five Behaviors models of trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.

Each individual on the team reflects on and assesses their own personality and gets feedback from their team. Each group report outlines every team member's abilities, team environment and culture, and the behaviors required for overall productivity.

  • Identifies the individual behaviors of the behavioral framework
  • Helps build a common language and understanding of the teamwork model
  • Enables the entire leadership team, leading the same set of principles and processes, and working on all the goals of the team
  • Provides a platform and challenges to implement and apply the goals of success criteria for optimal performance
