(Virtual Instructor-Led Training)
VILT (Virtual Instructor-Led Training) has been around for decades, but with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become one of the most dominant forms of employee learning & development. According to the Report on Benchmark and Trends in Customer Education, VILT programs have grown by more than five times due to remote work and employees working in different time zones.
Virtual training takes the fundamentals of face-to face classroom training and creates the experience through a virtual platform such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. It can be combined with Video on Demand course delivery via streaming platforms, and in some cases, integrated with onsite skills & regulatory training to create hybrid learning programs.
Good virtual training programs are clear, engaging and provide opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and comprehension evaluation. JER HR Group’s executive trainers are experts in interactive adult learning principles, providing an exceptional learning experience that directly impacts business goals.
