WHAT IF: Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Investigations
The EEOC helps protect employees against discrimination. Charges may be filed against organizations for discrimination in all areas of employment, including the hiring process, consideration for promotion, wages, benefits, and terminations. Discrimination can occur in many areas that are legally protected provisions by the EEOC, including age (ADEA), gender, sexual orientation (Title 7), race, disability (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and more. If your organization has at least 15 employees or more, you are subject to EEOC protections.
